His uncomplicated batting and off-spin bowling thrust Chase into the full glare of WINDIES fans following a hundred and five wickets in only his second Test in a match-saving effort against powerhouse India. Tall and slimly-built, he does not naturally exhibit the flare of his fellow batting teammates, but he has risen through the ranks through the dint of hard work and careful consideration which were fully on display when he batted almost an entire day for his second Test hundred in another near, match-saving effort against Pakistan in 2017 in Dominica. Finding the right rhythm to his batting and maintaining his tidy bowling will help him to forge a purposeful career.
