Deandra Dottin
The only woman in the history of T20 cricket to score two centuries to date. Dottin is a menacing cricketer who carries a steely facial expression on the field. Over the years, several opponents have said she is one of the few cricketers they cannot read, unless she was injured during play.
Deandra short but athletic build has her moving through the field and between the wickets like a sprinter in a 100m dash. She is lightening fast when picking up the ball to return to the keeper, which comes from her school days as a track and field athlete. Deandra is a “death-bowler” whom the captain has used to finish off opposing teams. Because of her fearless game, Deandra has played for the Brisbane Heat in the WBBL in Australia for the past 2 years.
Despite her steely character, Deandra is one of the pranksters on the team. She’ll be one of the first ones to pull a prank on a teammate or laugh at a funny mishap. She also has a soft side when it comes to kids, she will take her time to explain cricket to them and demonstrate the proper techniques needed for the game.
