CWI & UNICEF partner to Break the Silence in children's cricket
Across the region, the game of cricket teaches children commitment, teamwork and discipline. Most of all, the game allows to children to have fun!
Recently, some keen young cricketers had the opportunity to meet, play and get some tips from their West Indies cricket heroes and also some English cricket stars.
We were delighted to have our children meet and have some fun with West Indies cricket heroes as well as some English cricketers earlier this year with @UNICEFECA #Unicef #BreakTheSilence #WIChildren #WIFuture pic.twitter.com/4EBKcH0ZA5

This impactful initiative was organized by UNICEF Eastern Caribbean and Cricket West Indies to promote children protection and safety in the game, which both organizations hold as a priority.
Let’s ensure that all children are protected and are able to safely play the regional past time, and any other sport, in environments that are abuse free. ‘Break the Silence’. Report any form of abuse which will hinder our children from reaching their fullest potential.
