ST. JOHN’S, Antigua – Cricket West Indies has launched the online sale of tickets for Ireland’s Tour of the West Indies in January 2020.

West Indies will face Ireland in three Colonial Medical Insurance One-Day Internationals (ODIs) – the first two to be played at Kensington Oval, Barbados on Tuesday, January 7 and Thursday, January 9 before playing the third on Sunday, January 12, at the National Cricket Stadium in Grenada.

The two sides then contest three Twenty20 Internationals – the first on Wednesday, January 15, at the National Cricket Stadium in Grenada, and the final two on Saturday, January 18, and Sunday, January 19, at Warner Park in St. Kitts.

“West Indies fans in the three host territories and across the region have a wonderful opportunity to come out and get behind the team early in the New Year, as they start their final push to the ICC World Twenty20 Australia 2020 in October next year,” said CWI commercial director, Dominic Warne.
“The fans can really make the difference in creating the famous Caribbean atmosphere that the players love and which fans all over the world enjoy watching on TV.”
“Ticket prices range from about EC$15/US$5 for the most affordable seat in Grenada and St. Kitts to BDS$50/US$25 for a premium seat in Barbados, so we urge our fans to come out and become the ‘extra player’ and give our promising teams that extra boost when they step on to the field.”
Warne said: “We’re making tickets affordable for fans, so they can come and get behind the team in their first white-ball series on home soil with Kieron Pollard as Captain and Phil Simmons as Head Coach.

Local box office sales start approximately two weeks in advance of each leg of the Tour with the list of opening dates being:

  • Barbados: January 2 for 1st and 2nd Colonial Medical Insurance ODIs
  • Grenada: January 6 for 3rd Colonial Medical Insurance ODI and 1st T20I
  • St. Kitts: January 15th for 2nd and 3rd T20Is
