GEORGETOWN, Guyana – West Indies have included allrounder Romario Shepherd in the 13-member match day squad for the second match of the Osaka Batteries Presents PSO Carient T20 Cup against Pakistan. Shepherd was not in the original 18-member T20I squad for this season. He has been drafted in as some players are unavailable due to injuries.

The match will be played at the Guyana National Stadium on Saturday. First ball is 11am (10am Jamaica Time). Fully vaccinated fans will be able to attend the match. Tickets prices are US$20/GUY$4,000 for each match. There are three locations where fans can make purchases at three locations. These are GCB Office at Regent Road, Bourda; Imran and Son at 73 ‘A’ Rose Hall Town, Berbice; and at Imam Bacchus and Sons at Affiance, Essequibo Coast.

The four-match Osaka Batteries Presents PSO Carient T20 Cup is level 1-1 following the no result in the opening contest at Kensington Oval last Thursday. The third and fourth matches will be played on Sunday and Tuesday. This series forms part of the West Indies’ World Cup preparation with a total of 15 T20Is to be played across three months in the build-up to the ICC T20 World Cup to be played from October 17 to November 14 in the United Arab Emirates and Oman.
