Cricket West Indies has congratulated Conde Riley on his recent national honour in Barbados during the island's 54th anniversary of independence celebrations.

Riley, who is President of the Barbados Cricket Association and a Director of Cricket West Indies, received the Gold Crown of Merit, for his contribution to the game.

It was presented by Governor-General Dame Sandra Mason, at the independence ceremony on Monday morning. In December 2019, he was made an Officer of the British Empire (OBE) in the Queen’s 2020 New Year Honours.
