Wickham and Barbados beaming with Pride; Volcanoes take charge of Scorpions

Barbados batsmen ran riot over the Combined Campuses and Colleges bowlers at Chedwin Park in Jamaica. Kevin Wickham led the Pride batting with a blistering 139 runs from 135 deliveries, which included nine sixes and eight fours as Barbados Pride declared on 344/8. This match started a day late due to the outfield being waterlogged on Day 1.

Backing up Wickham with the bat was Jonathan Drakes who knocked thirteen fours on his way to 84 and wicketkeeper Shane Dowrich who added 41 runs to the total. With a bowling attack that included four Barbadians, with Jonathan Carter being one of them, the CCC bowlers toiled against the Pride batsmen. Romario Greaves was the pick of the CCC bowlers with figures of 10-2-54-2, followed by Barbados under-19 bowler Zishan Motara with 9.2-1-54-2 and Jediah Blades with 18-2-64-2.
