Jannillea Glasgow
Glasgow began playing cricket at the age of 10 in the Park Hill community of St. Vincent. She also participates in volleyball, football and athletics at the domestic levels and plays for the United Survivors locally, along with the Trinbago Knight Riders in the Women’s CPL.
Jannillea is seeking to achieve the level of aggression that Virat Kohli shows in all formats of the game, in whatever area she is required to perform for the team and Mitchell Starc is one of her idols. Even though he is a left-hander, she thinks his variations are something that she can learn from and bring into her own game.
While a 5-wicket haul in the first match of regional Under 19 cricket being her current highlight, Glasgow’s aim is to get in better shape, so that she can be more explosive on the field of play and represent the West Indies.
