CWI wishes to clarify that the High Performance Centre previously housed at the University of the West Indies, Cave Hill Campus was closed, effective January 2017, after the CWI Board of Directors agreed to a write-off of the sponsorship income of US$1,081,405 emanating from the sponsorship of the HPC.

This amount had been utilized by UWI in the improvement of the physical cricket facilities of the HPC. The sponsorship of the High Performance Centre ran for five (5) years and was the subject of a tripartite agreement between the three (3) parties, the sponsor, UWI and CWI. The sponsorship agreement expired in September 2014.
