WEST INDIES TRAIN AHEAD OF THE 2ND TEST AT TRENT BRIDGE

West Indies men hit the ground running in Nottingham as they prepare to even up the Rothesay series at the first opportunity at Trent Bridge.

Not even the persistent East Midlands rain could stop them from getting their work done, both in the three-lane indoor nets and outside when the skies brightened up just enough to allow the players to familiarise themselves with the arena.

It is a ground that Sir Garry Sobers used to be very familiar with when he played for Notts, and the current men in maroon are hoping to make just as big an impact this week.

Wicket-keeper batter Joshua Da Silva made the most of both facilities to top up his work from earlier in the tour and to ready himself for the contest with Mark Wood, who has replaced the retired James Anderson.
