PHILIPBURG, St. Maarten -- The Leeward Islands Masters Cricket Association (LIMCA) recently held its Annual General Meeting at the Carib Lumber Cricket Grounds, St. Maarten.  The meeting was attended by representatives from the countries that make up the sub-regional grouping.

The meeting discussed and agreed to several matters.  Among the items that was agreed to, was the adoption of the association's constitution.  The meeting also reviewed the 2008 tournament, which was held in St. Maarten.  A proposal for the 2009 tournament to be held in Nevis, was presented and accepted by the meeting. 

The meeting also considered the organization's finances, which was followed by the election of officers to run the affairs of the organization.

The result of the election was as follows:
President - Mr. Alkins Rogers (Anguilla)
Vice President- Mr. Elkanah Charles (Antigua & Barbuda)
Treasurer - Mr. Anthony Rawlins (St. Kitts)
Assistant Treasurer - Mr. Derrick Holliday (St. Maarten)
Secretary - Mr. Lorson Fergusen (St. Croix, USVI)
Assistant Secretary - Mr. Joseph Claxston (Nevis)
Public Relations Officer - Mrs. Lydia M. Harris (St. Thomas, USVI)
The AGM also confirmed the host countries for the next four (4) years as follows:
2009       - Nevis
2010       - Antigua & Barbuda
2011       - St. Croix
2012       - St. Thomas
