Jamaica's Blackwood hits superb 204 in TCL Group Under-19 tourney

Jamaican Jermaine Blackwood made a superb 204 as his side made 380 against Guyana on the second day of the second round of matches in the West Indies Cricket Board’s TCL Group Under-19 three-day challenge tournament in St Lucia.

The 18-year-old right-hander, who started the day on 100 not out, faced 291 balls and hit 14 boundaries and six sixes at the Gros Islet Playing Field on Tuesday to pilot his side to the highest score of the tournament so far.

In reply to Jamaica’s score, the Guyanese reached 45-2 for tea It was his second good knock of the tournament, following up on his match-saving 90 not out against Trinidad and Tobago in the first round last week.
