Trinis bat first against Vincentians in Women's League

Kingstown, St Vincent: Today is the second day of the West Indies Cricket Board’s Women’s 50-Over League. It was a great opening day on Thursday with a number of fantastic performances and more are in store today from the leading female players in the Caribbean.

In Zone B: defending champions Trinidad and Tobago face home side St Vincent and the Grenadines at Arnos Vale 1. The Vincentians won the toss and decided to send the Trinidadians in to bat in the day's key match-up. Both sides opened the tournament with impressive victories on Thursday. In the other match over at Stubbs, Guyana won toss and batted first against Grenada.

In Zone A: St Lucia won the toss and decided to send Jamaica in to bat at Victoria Park. The match was delayed by 30 minutes due to overnight rain. Both teams enter the match full of confidence after victories on the first day. The Jamaicans defeated Barbados by eight wickets and St Lucia beat Dominica by 12 runs. In the other Zone A match at Arnos Vale 2, Barbados won the toss and decided to bat first against Dominica.
