Red-hot Trinis strike early against Grenadians
Kingstown, St Vincent: Trinidad and Tobago continue to make a solid defence of their title as the West Indies Cricket Board’s Women’s 50-Over League continued on Sunday with the third round of matches. The Trinis, who started the match with eight points following two wins, won the toss and sent Grenada in to bat. Grenada have already been reduced to five runs for one wicket in the second over of their Zone B match at Sion Hill.
In the other Zone B match St Vincent and the Grenadines won the toss and decided to bat first against Guyana in at Arnos Vale 1. Both teams are on four points and will be looking to win this contest. In Zone A, leaders Jamaica, with eight points from two matches, were send in to bat by Dominica at Stubbs. In the other match, St Lucia won the toss and chose to bat against Barbados at Arnos Vale 2.
