Free-scoring Cooper and King lead the charge for Trinidad
Kingstown, St Vincent: Trinidad and Tobago have launched a positive reply to the 156 made by St Vincent and the Grenadines in the final of the West Indies Cricket Board’s Women’s 50-Over League at Arnos Vale Playing Field 1, on Wednesday. At the end of the 30th over the Trinis were on 82-3 off 30 overs with their two main batters at the crease. Britney Cooper is on 21, with a number of powerful boundaries, while left-hander Stacy-Ann King is on 18. The Trinidadians now need another 75 runs from the last 20 overs to win the title for the second consecutive season.
