Guyana all out for 103 as Bangalore bowlers dominate

Centurion, South Africa: Guyana were bowled out for 103 off the final ball of their innings against Royal Challengers Bangalore in their Airtel Champions Trophy T20 tournament match on Sunday. Asked to bat first on a good pitch, the Amazon Conquerors failed to come to grips with the experienced bowling attack and lost wickets in bunches at Supersports Park, in Centurion, near Pretoria.

The topscore came from right-hander Chris Barnwell, who made 30 from 35 balls before he was last man out, caught behind, as he tried his best to score off the final ball of the innings. Experienced seamer Jacques Kallis was the best bowler with 3-16 off his four overs, including the key wicket of skipper Ramnaresh Sarwan. The right-handed Sarwan made seven, included a big six off Kallis, but he was bowled the next ball.
