New boy Marlon Graham in Bajan team for WICB One-Day Tourney

Bridgetown: The Barbados selectors have called-up allrounder Marlon Graham to the 14-man squad for the upcoming West Indies Cricket Board's 50-Over Tournament, to be played in Jamaica from October 14 to 24. Graham, who turns 32 on Monday, is an off-spinning allrounder who has played for over 15 years at the senior club level. The squad was announced by the Barbados Cricket Association on Friday.

The Bajans will be led left-handed allrounder Ryan Hinds and includes six players who have represented the West Indies. These are: Hinds, opening batsman Dale Richards, allrounder Dwayne Smith, left-arm spinner Sulieman Benn and fast bowlers Kemar Roach and Tino Best. West Indies ‘A’ players, 17-year-old opener Kraigg Brathwaite, batsman Kirk Edwards and all-rounder Kevin Stoute further underline the strength of the side.

Barbados have been drawn in Group B alongside the Leewards Islands, Guyana, and the Sagicor High Performance Centre, who will be playing in the tournament for the first time. The Bajans start their quest for the title against the Leeward at Sabina Park on October 15.
