TEA: Sebastien's wickets give Windwards edge

Cave Hill, Barbados – An excellent spell off off-spin bowling by skipper Liam Sebastien has given the Windward Islands a slight advantage over Combine Campuses & Colleges at tea on the opening day of the WICB First-class semi-final at the 3Ws Oval.

The 27-year-old has so far taken 3-26 from  21 overs, as the home side reach the break on 188-5 Sebastien, who gave the ball generous flight and varied his pace well, looked capable of running through the batting but was forced to leave the field half-hour before tea with what appeared to be a left hamstring strain.

Before lunch he got rid Shacoya Thomas (32) and after the break he had Kyle Corbin (30) leg-before, trying to pull and Nkrummuah Bonner (6), caught at short leg. For CCC, opener Romel Currency has so far made 75 not out off 190 balls with four boundaries and he holds the key in the final session of the day.
