Lunch Day 2: Windies lose 2 after rain delay

Bridgetown, Barbados, CMC – West Indies were setback before lunch by two wickets in four balls to Ishant Sharma in the Second Digicel Test against India on Wednesday.

At the interval, West Indies reached 82 for five, replying to India’s first innings total of 201, with Marlon Samuels not out on 15 and Shivnarine Chanderpaul not out on 12 on a rain-affected second day at Kensington Oval.

After rain delayed the start by 45 minutes, Bishoo was caught at second gully off the lanky fast bowler for 13, and three balls later, Sarwan’s struggles continued, when he trapped lbw on the back-foot for 18, leaving West Indies 57 for five.

Samuels and Chanderpaul then fought for the last 45 minutes before the interval to keep things from going totally downhill.
