Here are the details:

AT ALPART - Jamaica v Windward Islands

The Windward Islands put in a commanding performance on Day 1 to secure first innings points against Jamaica. The Windwards also ended the day well ahead, giving themselves a fighting chance of gaining an outright victory.

In their first innings, there were similar top-order problems, but that was ironed out by Nick Elibox, who struck 46 in the middle to steady the innings. Before him, captain Emmanuel Stewart hit a patient 24 from 53 balls. Johnell Eugene also provided some support with 25.

But it was Elibox's run-a-ball 46 that provided the Windwards' push to 142/9 in the first innings. Ian Spence grabbed 4-46 and Brad Barnes had 3-68 to be Jamaica's stand out bowlers in the first innings.

Jamaica's chase for first innings got off to a terrible start as Shane Roberts left the hosts reeling at 11/3 early on. Dominik Samuels provided some resistance, hitting 32 from 97 balls, but his knock proved too slow. Wickets kept falling around him. Barnes hit 28 while Jeavor Royal made 18 but Jamaica fell well short of the Windwards' score, finishing 39 overs on 109/9.

Both Roberts and Eugene took three wickets each. With a first innings lead of 33, the Windwards ended Day 1 on 31/1, an overall lead of 64. Johann Jeremiah is not out on 14 while with him is Emmanuel Stewart on 10.

Guyana, in their second innings, finished Day 1 on 69/4, having an overall lead of 81 runs. Emilo Gopaul and Kirstan Kallicharan both have two wickets each.

AT TREASURE BEACH - Leeward Islands v Barbados

Barbados are course for an outright victory and has piled more misery on bottom-of-the-table Leeward Islands. Another dismal batting display by the Leewards have left them just three wickets away from defeat.

The struggle started when Barbados asked them to bat first. Only one batsman got into double figures in captain Dimitri Adams, who made and obviously top scored with 24. There were three scores of seven thereafter, jointly finishing as the second highest score of the innings. The extras (15) scored more. The Leewards were dismissed for 74.

Kemar Burrowes helped himself to figures of 6-13. Barbados then proceeded to demoralise their opponents with the bat. Led with 67 by Joshua Bishop, the Bajans scored 209/7 from 41 overs. Jamuel Cabey and Tassilo Allen took two wickets each for the Leewards.

With a lead of 135, the Leewards are crashing towards a heavy innings defeat, being reduced to 37/7 by stumps on Day 1. No batsman has gotten into double figues as yet. Reniel Smith and Joshua Bishop have three wickets each.
