BRIDGETOWN, Barbados – Captain Darren Sammy believes the West Indies side that will defend their World Twenty20 title in Bangladesh later this month, is much better equipped than the one which lifted the trophy two years ago in Sri Lanka.

Fudadin fights but Windwards win Day 2

Georgetown, Guyana - The Windward Islands bowlers all chipped in to lead to Guyana's demise on Day 2 of their Round 3, Regional 4-Day match at Providence Stadium.

However, it was Guyana who had the brighter start to the day. Resuming on 289/6, the Windwards would not get much further as Christopher Barnwell almost single-handedly led their rout.

St John's, Antigua - Round 3 of the Regional 4-Day tournament starts a day earlier for both Guyana and the Windward Islands meet at Providence Stadium from 10am Eastern Caribbean Time today.

The Windwards have been the dominant side in this head-to-head battle, winning six of the 16 contests between the two sides since the turn of the century.
