WICB to expand special membership

Port of Spain, Trinidad – The West Indies Cricket Board, at a Special Members’ Meeting recently in Port of Spain, Trinidad, expanded the list of special members to include representatives from governments of the West Indies, the Caribbean business community, media, academia and the tourism sector.

Women to open World Cup vs India

DUBAI, United Arab Emirates - West Indies will open against India in the International Cricket Council ( ICC) Women’s World cup at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai on the 31st of January.

The ICC on Monday released the schedule and format of the Women’s World Cup, to be held in Mumbai from 31 January to 17 February 2013.

Greenidge named Women's Manager

ST. JOHN’S, Antigua – The West Indies Cricket Board today announced that former Barbadian national player, Pat Greenidge has been named West Indies Women’s Team Manager.

Greenidge who is currently a senior manager at Sagicor Life Inc., holds an MBA from the Edinburgh Business School and is a qualified Company Secretary.

Aguilleira: Windies full of ambition

Bridgetown, Barbados – Captain Merissa Aguilleira believes that West Indies women’s cricket is on the rise and she is predicting “big things” for her team in the near future.

 

Twin sisters share the same dream

Bridgetown, Barbados – Kyshona Knight was on top of the world when she was called up among the region’s best 18 players for the West Indies Women’s camp. She said it was “special” as she joined her twin sister Kycia in the squad.
