Windies women lose final T20

BASSETERRE, St Kitts, CMC – West Indies Women went down by six wickets in the final Twenty20 International of their five-match series against India at Warner Park here Monday.

Sent in to bat, West Indies mustered 115 for four with Shemaine Campbelle top scoring with 37 and Stacy-Ann King finishing unbeaten on 34.

Taylor stars as Windies win Series

ROSEAU, Dominica, CMC – Stafanie Taylor led the way with 37 not out to help West Indies Women clinch their Twenty20 International series against India Women with a six-wicket victory on Thursday.

Aguilleira: We want Series win

ROSEAU, Dominica, CMC – West Indies women’s captain Merissa Aguilleira says her side will be going for the series win when they face India in the fourth Twenty20 International on Thursday.

Aguilleira helped West Indies take a precious 2-1 lead in the five-match series on Wednesday when she scored a mature unbeaten 39 to help the hosts complete a four-wicket win at Windsor Park.

“We have a chance to wrap up the series with a win tomorrow and we will be going all out to do that,” the Trinidadian said.

Roseau, Dominica -- A superb knock by Merissa Aguilleira took West Indies Women to a hard-fought victory over India Women in the third T20 International at Windsor Park on Wednesday.

ST JOHN’S — The West Indies women would be looking to take the lead when they meet India in the third of their five match T20 series in Dominica today. The local girls won the opening match convincingly before falling by three runs in the second game in St John’s on Sunday. Not even a late cameo from vice-captain Anisa Mohammed could prevent West Indies from defeat.
