Bonner praises Sagicor HPC

North Sound, Antigua – West Indies A Team centurion Nkrumah Bonner has praised the Sagicor High Performance Centre for improving his cricket.

“The HPC has changed us as players for the better, it is a great programme for the development of young cricketers and I improved physically, mentally and in my skills department as well during the time I spent there,” said the Jamaican all rounder about the West Indies Cricket Board programme based at the Cave Hill Campus of the University of the West Indies in Barbados.

North Sound, Antigua – West Indies A dismissed Bangladesh A for 422 from 110.1 overs shortly after lunch on the third day of their First Digicel ‘Test’ at the Sir Vivian Richards Cricket Grounds.

Bangaldesh A have a 64 run lead after the Windies A first innings score of 358.

Vice Captain and wicketkeeper Mohammed Mithun finished with 52 to add to centuries by Mominul Haque (150) and Nasir Hossain (134).

NORTH SOUND, Antigua, CMC – West Indies-A endured stiff punishment when Mominul Haque and Nasir Hossain went on the rampage collecting hundreds to lead a spectacular Bangladesh-A revival in the first “Test” on Sunday.

No Windies-A bowler was spared before Mominul was dismissed in the final hour on the second day for 150, leaving Nasir undefeated on 123 to drive Bangladesh-A to 331 for five, replying to the home team’s first innings total of 358 at the close.

North Sound, Antigua – West Indies A pegged Bangladesh A to 54 for 3 by lunch on day two of their Digicel ‘Test’ at the Sir Vivian Richards Cricket Grounds.
