Arnos Vale, St Vincent — Left-arm fast bowler Delorn Johnson and left-arm spinner Veerasammy Permaul shared all ten wickets as West Indies A Team routed India A for 94 in the second innings to win the second Digicel Test match by a whopping 125 runs at Arnos Vale on Tuesday.

Bowlers deliver big win for Windies

KINGSTOWN, St Vincent, CMC – West Indies A needed just an hour and eight minutes on the final day to steamroll India A’s high-touted batting line-up and record a massive victory in the second Digicel four-day ‘Test’ on Tuesday.

The hosts claimed the last six wickets for 37 runs as India A, resuming the day on 57 for four in pursuit of 220 for victory, were bundled out for a paltry 94 runs to give the home side an impressive victory by 125 runs on an action-packed morning at Arnos Vale.

Johnson has India on the run

KINGSTOWN, St Vincent, CMC – West Indies A were closing in on a series-levelling victory in the second Digicel four-day “Test” here Monday after left-arm seamer Delorn Johnson produced a lethal burst to leave India A reeling at the close on the third day at Arnos Vale.

KINGSTOWN, St Vincent, CMC – Captain Veerasammy Permaul was brilliant with his left-arm spin to gain West Indies A Team a first innings lead on the second day of their second unofficial “Test” on Sunday.

 

Kraigg stands tall as others fall

KINGSTOWN, St Vincent, CMC – Opening batsman Kraigg Brathwaite produced a wonderful single-minded effort to prop us West Indies A on the opening day of the second Digicel four-day “Test” against India A on Saturday.

The determined teenager batted the entire day to finish unbeaten on 66 and guide the hosts to 212 for eight after they opted to bat first at Arnos Vale.
