Coach Campbell happy with progress as Windies champs return home

Bridgetown, Barbados – Coach of the West Indies Women's team Sherwin Campbell says he is extremely pleased with the side's showing in South Africa and urged his players to aim for the "next level". Campbell was speaking on Tuesday as the team return home after they  won the T20 Trophy and placed second in the 50 Over League at the ICC Challenge Tournament in Potchefstroom, South Africa.

Rain has final say as Sagicor HPC and Leewards share points

Kingston, Jamaica – The Leeward Islands and Sagicor High Performance Centre had to share the points on Sunday as their Group B match in the WICB Regional 50 Over Tournament ended in a no-decision due to heavy rain in the afternoon.  Both teams are now locked on two points from two matches with one more match to play. Both teams were beaten in the opening round last Friday – Leewards by Barbados and Sagicor HPC by Guyana.

WICB congratulates Windies Women on outstanding tour

St John's Antigua – The West Indies Cricket Board has congratulated the West Indies Women's Team for their outstanding performances on the recent tour of South Africa. The Windies Women were the best team at the International Cricket Council's Challenge Tournament, which was played in Potchefstroom, South Africa.

They won the T20 Trophy and reached the final of the 50 Over League, but lost to South Africa. That was their only defeat on tour.
