Georgetown, Guyana, CMC – A 51-run unbroken stand between Lendl Simmons and Darren Bravo helped West Indies recover from a shaky start before lunch in the opening Test against Pakistan on Thursday.

Georgetown, Guyana, CMC – West Indies won the toss and chose to bat on the opening day of the first Digicel Test against Pakistan on Thursday at the Guyana National Stadium.

Georgetown, Guyana – West Indies will look to get the better of Pakistan when the two teams face each other in the first Digicel Test of the two-match series starting on Thursday.

Hooper appointed Sagicor HPC Batting Coach

Bridgetown, BarbadosThe WICB today announced that former West Indies captain Carl Hooper has been appointed Batting Coach at the Sagicor High Performance Center.

The classy strokemaker represented the West Indies in 102 Tests and 227 One Day Internationals between 1987 and 2003. He scored a total of 11,523 international runs and registered 20 international centuries and 56 half centuries. He has a highest Test score of 233 which was scored against India in his native Guyana.
