GROS-ISLET, St. Lucia – Purposeful bowling from Andre Russell led a West Indies fight-back, after David Warner, Shane Watson and Peter Forrest plundered half-centuries to lead Australia’s batting in the rain-affected fifth and final Digicel One-day International on Sunday.

GROS-ISLET, St Lucia, Mar 23, CMC – Australia, sent in to bat, posted 281 for nine from their allocation of 50 overs against West Indies in the rain-affected fifth and final Digicel One-Day International on Sunday at the Beausejour Cricket Ground.

GROS-ISLET, St. Lucia – West Indies won the toss and chose to field against Australia in the fifth and final Digicel One-day International on Sunday at the Beausejour Cricket Ground.

Both sides are unchanged for the match, which will be played before another sell-out crowd.

Windies aim to break 17-year jinx

GROS ISLET, St Lucia, CMC – Already assured of at least a share of the spoils in the five-match series, West Indies say they will be going for the jugular against Australia in the final Digicel One-Day International on Sunday.

The Windies comprehensively outplayed and beat the Aussies by 42 runs in Friday’s fourth ODI to take an unassailable 2-1 lead in the series, and are now focussed on pulling off their first series win over the visitors in 17 years.
