Baugh goes on "attack", plays natural game

Roseau, Dominica – Carlton Baugh played a brilliant counter-attacking knock for the West Indies against India on the second day of the Third Digicel Test match at Windsor Park on Thursday.

The small keeper topscored with 60 as the West Indies were bowled out for 204 on another rain-shortened day. India reached eight without loss shortly after tea, before rain ended the day.

Windies make 204 as rain forces early end

Roseau, Dominica, CMC – Heavy rain again forced an early close to the second day of the Third Digicel Test match between West Indies and India at Windsor Park on Thursday.

Only 80.3 overs out of a possible 180 have been delivered over the first two days of the Test being staged in the Dominica capital for the first time. West Indies were bowled out for 204 just before tea and India were eight without loss when a heavy shower came to end the day.

Lunch Day 2: Windies lose Shiv and Samuels after rain delays start

Roseau, Dominica, CMC – Two wickets – one of them, the prized scalp of Shivnarine Chanderpaul – before lunch set West Indies back in the third Digicel Test against India on Thursday.

At the interval, West Indies, sent in to bat, reached 128 for five in their first innings on the rain-affected second day at Windsor Park, with Darren Bravo not out on 41 and Carlton Baugh not out on 19.

The weather, which restricted the two sides to just 31.1 overs on the opening day, delayed play until 20 minutes after the regularly scheduled start.

At Honeymoon Park: Windward Islands 107-8 off 30 overs (Roland Kato 33, Valange St Anges 26, Gidron Pope 20, Chad Williams 6-39) and 29-1 off 6.3 overs). Barbados 91 all out off 28 overs (Joshua Drakes 40, Lee Gaskin 11, Tariq Shorey 11, Craigg Phillip 5-22)
