Fidel replaces Rampaul for Sabina Test

KINGSTON, Jamaica, CMC – Barbadian speedster Fidel Edwards has replaced the injured Ravi Rampaul in the 13-man West Indies squad for the second and final Test against New Zealand starting here Thursday.

Fast bowler Rampaul took four wickets in the first Test which West Indies won by nine wickets at the Sir Vivian Richards Cricket Ground on Sunday, but has been ruled out with a groin problem.

It is the only change to the squad which arrived here Monday to start preparation for the match at Sabina Park.

NORTH SOUND, Antigua – Kemar Roach put the chains in motion before Chris Gayle coolly navigated West Indies to a nine-wicket victory over New Zealand in the first Digicel Test on Sunday here.

Roach snared 5-60 from 23.2 overs, as New Zealand were bowled out for 272 in their second innings about 45 minutes before tea on the final day.

WI beat NZ by 9 wickets in 1st Test
