Powergen teams up with Pinelands

PORT OF SPAIN, TRINIDAD & TOBAGO - The successful PowerGen cricket club has formed a three-way partnership with Barbadian club Pinelands and Canadian club Brampton Masters. This arrangement, the brain-child of Chaitram Ramjitsingh, PowerGen’s president, was recently cemented in Barbados.

Deonarine, Narine lead the pack

T&T offspinner Sunil Narine is currently the leading wicket-taker in the Regional Four Day Tournament, despite having played in one less match than the other bowlers in the top five. The 23-year-old, who orchestrated the Red Force's victories over CCC and the Windward Islands, has now taken 31 scalps in three games (ave:9.61).

Rampaul ruled out of training camp

Trinidad and Tobago and West Indies pacer Ravi Rampaul will not be taking part in the West Indies Cricket Board (WICB) fitness testing in preparation for the limited overs leg of the upcoming Australian tour of the Caribbean later this month.
