Windies arrive in Sri Lanka, hit the ground running

Colombo, Sri Lanka – The West Indies Team arrived in Sri Lanka on Sunday morning and immediately hit the ground running. On arrival at the airport the Windies were greeted by several fans and well-wishers. There was also a warm reception at the team hotel as several players posed for pictures and signed autographs. The players then had a pool session in the evening and will have their first training session on Monday morning.

Windies makes it two wins in a row at World Masters

Bridgetown, Barbados – West Indies continued their great start to the World Masters Tournament with a seven-wicket win over India on Saturday night. This came after their sensational opening match when they beat England with a ball to spare on Friday night. The T20 Tournament is organised by the Cricket Legends of Barbados featuring players over the age of 35. All matches are being played at Kensington Oval.

Roach ready to step up and lead Windies bowling attack

Colombo, Sri Lanka – Fast bowler Kemar Roach is ready to step-up again and lead the West Indies bowling attack in the upcoming tour of Sri Lanka. The soft-spoken 22-year-old is expected to use the new ball in the series which features three Tests, five One-Day Internationals and a T20 Internationals. The Windies are expected to arrive in Colombo on Sunday morning.

Hyatt powers Windies A to thumping win

North South, Antigua - Strapping Jamaican right hander Danza Hyatt made a punishing half century and his countryman Nikita Miller delivered four miserly overs as they combined to lead West Indies A to a comprehensive win over Pakistan A at the Sir Vivian Richards Cricket Ground on Saturday night.
