Trinidad, Barbados & Antigua submit bid to host CT20 2011 & 2012

St John's, Antigua - Antigua, Barbados and Trinidad are the three territories which have submitted bids to the West Indies Cricket Board for the hosting of Caribbean Twenty20 Tournament in 2011 and 2012.

Windies ready for tour opener against SLC President's XI

Colombo, Sri Lanka – West Indies will start their tour of Sri Lanka with a three-day match against the Sri Lanka Cricket's President's XI on Wednesday at the Singhalese Sports Club. First ball is 10 am (12.30 am Eastern Caribbean Time/11.30 pm Tuesday Jamaica Time). After two days of intense training at the match venue the Windies are ready for the match as they seek to get fully acclimatized ahead of the three-match ERI Test Series against the Sri Lankans.

Pakistan A make steady progress after solid opening stand

St George's, Grenada - Pakistan A have progressed to 140 for 1 by the 31st over in the First Digicel One Day match against West Indies A at the Grenada National Stadium.

Opener Khurram Manzoor is not out on 55 and Umar Amin (1*) is with him after the visitors lost Umair Khan who was bowled by Devendra Bishoo for 59. Khan faced 83 balls and struck five fours.

Eager Barath seeks the wise advice of Chanderpaul

Colombo, Sri Lanka – West Indies opening batsman Adrian Barath knows he has a key role to play in the upcoming series.
