Simmons eager for Windies recall

PORT OF SPAIN, TRINIDAD - Red Force opener Lendl Simmons, is eager to be included in the West Indies limited overs squad for the England tour.

Simmons who suffered a broken finger during the Regional four-day series, is fit again and has been in prolific form for his local club Ceramic Merryboys. 

Samuels to join Windies on Tuesday

HOVE, England – Batsman Marlon Samuels is expected to finally link up with the West Indies touring party on Tuesday.

The Jamaican has been one of three players yet to join the squad which arrived here last Wednesday, with batsmen Narsingh Deonarine and Assad Fudadin still stuck in Jamaica waiting on United Kingdom visas.

KINGSTON, Jamaica – Stranded West Indies batsmen Narsingh Deonarine and Assad Fudadin kept themselves in shape ahead of their trip to England, with half-centuries for the Kingston Cricket Club in the domestic competition here Sunday.
