KINGSTON, JAMAICA - West Indies cricketer Marlon Samuels has targeted his alma maters, Tarrant Primary and Kingston College (KC), as the first beneficiaries of his soon-to-be-launched charity organisation, the Marlon Samuels Foundation, which he expects to be up and running early next year.

Gibson: Fidel a capable replacement

BRIDGETOWN, BARBADOS - West Indies cricket coach Otis Gibson has described pacer Fidel Edwards as a capable replacement for fast bowler Kemar Roach, who will miss the test series of the tour of Bangladesh.

Roach is suffering from a knee injury and could be sidelined for about a month but may heal in time to play the one-day series.

WICB in television deal with TAJ TV

ST. JOHN’S, Antigua – The West Indies Cricket Board today announced that Taj TV Limited has acquired television broadcast rights for West Indies Cricket for a period of 7 years from January 2013.

Taj TV has acquired global television broadcast rights except for the terrestrial broadcast rights within the Caribbean along with production rights.

Windies lead HPC on first innings
