Rampaul: We planned Sachin's demise

Mumbai, India — West Indian fast bowler Ravi Rampaul admitted it was a “good feeling” as his plan to dismiss Sachin Tendulkar short of his 100th international century worked to perfection.

Rampaul, the hard-working right-armer, had Tendulkar caught by captain Darren Sammy at second slip for 94 -- six runs short of the landmark in the morning session on Friday.

PORT OF SPAIN, Trinidad, CMC – Out-of-favour West Indies all-rounder Dwayne Bravo has warned of more runs to come from his younger brother Darren Bravo.

The emerging batting star has scored nearly 1 000 runs already in the last 12 months, including three centuries, and has come to fore in the ongoing three-Test series against India.

“He will bat and bat and bat. He does not bowl, all he likes to do is bat,” said Dwayne.

Mumbai, India -- Indian batsman Sachin Tendulkar fell short of his 100th international century once again on Friday after being dismissed for 94 on the fourth morning of the third and final Test against West Indies.

The 38-year-old, unbeaten on 67 overnight, hit three boundaries and a six in the session and looked set to secure the coveted ton that has eluded him since he last made three figures in the ICC Cricket World Cup in April.

Mumbai, India, Nov 24, CMC - West Indies captain Darren Sammy intends to make Indian batting great Sachin Tendulkar fight for his 100th International century with two days remaining in the third and final Test.

Tendulkar was unbeaten on 67 as India made a strong reply to reach 281 for three at the close on the third day after West Indies had amassed 590 all out in their first innings.
