KINGSTON, Jamaica, CMC – Kane Williamson struck his sixth Test hundred to put New Zealand on top, as West Indies made a feeble start to the post-Darren Sammy era, on the opening day of the first Test here Sunday.

Black Caps bat; Gayle starts in 100 Test

KINGSTON, Jamaica – New Zealand won the toss and chose to bat against West Indies on the opening day of the first Test on Sunday at Sabina Park here.

The Test marks the 100th Test for Windies opener Chris Gayle on home soil.
