Windies to face strong BCB XI

Dhaka, Bangladesh – The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) announced a 14-member BCB XI for the first limited overs warm-up match against the West Indies.

The match will be taken place at Khan Shaheb Osman Ali Stadium at Fatullah on Friday. First ball is 9 am (11 pm Thursday Eastern Caribbean Time/10 pm Jamaica Time).

Shahriar Nafees will lead the side which includes Mohammad Ashraful, Alok Kopali, Nasir Hossain. Shuvagoto Hom, who is in the consideration for the squad for the three-match  One-Day International series, has been included in the BCB XI.

However the selectors did not include any national team bowlers for the first warm up match.
