Williams continues Xmen’s evolution with another win

Port of Spain, Trinidad - Clint Williams led his team to victory when he top scored with 66 runs that helped guide Xmen to a 50-run win over Monteco Old Boys on May 24, 2014 as action continued in the BG T&T Ministry of Sports Tyro Sports Club 12-over Windball Cricket League at the Bourg Mulatresse Recreational Ground, Santa Cruz. 

Williams propelled Xmen to a competitive 134/2 batting first. Also contributing to the total were Trevor Braithwaite and Robert Braithwaite, who both made 19. 

Despite Junior Walcott’s 29 runs, Old boys only managed 84/7 after its 12 overs. This victory made it back-to-back victories for Xmen, having previously defeated United Progressors (B) six days earlier.



Police 79/3 (11 overs), Anthony Reyes 14 GP, Amiram 3-0-10-2 vs Legends 78 all out (9.4 overs) Brent Marshall 21, Rick Cassie 2-0-4-1. Police won by 7 wickets

Drifters 118/4 (12 overs) Gregory Webb 32, A Ruiz 20, Bertram James 18 vs Tyro 61/5 (12 Overs) Earl Wilson 17. Drifters won by 57 runs.

Law Breakers 34/0 (2.1 overs), Ryan Griffith 14 (Not -Out), Riaz Ali 10 (Not-Out) vs Fire Service 33 All Out (6.1 overs), Vijay Mohan 10 ,Ryan Grifftih 3-1-5-3, Aveesh Sookoo 1-0-0-1. Law Breakers won by 10 wickets won by 10 wickets.


Combine Forces 80/5 (12 overs), Jordan Morgan-15 vs Cricket Lovers 84/3 (4.1 overs), Sarah Charles 26, Natalile Ninah 10, Glenis Miller 2-0-10-1. Cricket Lovers won by 7 wickets.
