Wickets for Jadoo, runs for Carimbocas

Port of Spain, Trinidad - Left-arm orthodox spinner Tevon Jadoo continued his good form with the ball yesterday, grabbing five wickets for 45 runs for East Zone as they dismissed North for 198 on day one of their final round BG T&T Under-19 InterZone match at Honeymoon Park, El Dorado, yesterday.

North middle order batsman Camillo Carimbocas, who has scored two centuries in the tournament so far, top-scored for his team again yesterday, hitting 64 while top-order batsman Amir Jangoo chipped in with 48.

In reply, East were 126 for four at stumps yesterday, still trailing by 72 runs but with West Indies Under-19 batsman Jeremy Solozano still at the wicket, unbeaten on 64.

Solozano scored 136 in the previous game. Kaleem Felix was not out on 32 at stumps.

In other matches, South won first innings points against Central at Woodland Ground in Debe while South East were closing in on victory against South West at Happy Hill Ground in Rousillac.

Elsewhere, Darion Ramdhenny scored a century to put North East in control against Tobago at Shaw Park in Tobago.

Ramdhenny hit 104 to lead North East to 268 all out in reply to Tobago‚Äôs first innings score of 95.
