8 Guyana clubs to get big Super50 bucks

Georgetown, Guyana – The West Indies Cricket Board today announced another exciting feature of the Regional Super50. Eight cricket clubs in Guyana will pocket big bucks from the Super50 Tournament.

WICB announces Clive Lloyd Trophy

Georgetown, Guyana – The West Indies Cricket Board today announced that the Regional Super50 winner’s trophy will be named after one of the most revered leaders in the history of world sport – Clive Hubert Lloyd.

The legendary former West Indies captain was chosen particularly in recognition of his leading the West Indies to lifting the first two Cricket World Cups in 1975 and 1979.

The trophy has been named The Clive Lloyd Trophy and will be the trophy for which teams compete in the Regional Super50 from now on.

St John’s Antigua –The West Indies Cricket Board has congratulated the members of the Sagicor High Performance Centre for their outstanding performances on the triumphant six-match tour of Dubai which ended on Sunday.

Dubai, United ArabEmirates – Sagicor High Performance saved their best for the last as they completely outplayed United Arab Emirates in a massive nine-wicket win on Sunday night. They swept all before them on tour and ended with the perfect record of six wins out of six matches played.
