ST. JOHN'S, Antigua – The Board of Directors of the West Indies Cricket Board will consider the reports from the various territorial boards relating to the report on the Board’s governance structure as prepared by the WICB Governance Committee.

BRIDGETOWN, BARBADOS - The West Indies Cricket Council for the Blind (WICCB) got a push in the right direction yesterday when they received a donation of cricketing equipment from the Australian government.

ST JOHN'S, ANTIGUA - The West Indies Cricket Board is pleased to announce the establishment of two new and improved West Indies Twitter accounts that will serve the Caribbean social media users. This change was forced upon this morning when the West Indies Cricket Board's official Twitter account exceeded its number of tweets allowed per day (1000).

ICC praises WICB Women's Cricket

St John’s, Antigua – The world governing body for cricket – the International Cricket Council – has praised and congratulated the West Indies Cricket Board for the impressive development of its women’s cricket programme.

The ICC Chief Executive Officer, Haroon Lorgat, wrote to the WICB President Dr. Julian Hunte on Monday expressing the ICC sentiments.

Coaches want more use of technology

Bridgetown, Barbados – Two senior regional coaches have lauded the West Indies Cricket Board for hosting a seminar on the use of technology in the sport, urging players across the Caribbean to embrace the benefits.

Vasbert Drakes and Stuart Williams, two former West Indies players, said they were extremely impressed with what they saw during the recent Data and Video Analysis Workshop for Statistical Analysts. Both completed the full programme which was facilitated by Richard Berridge, the long-standing Video & Statistical Analyst of the West Indies team.
