WICB establishes new Twitter set-up

ST JOHN'S, ANTIGUA - The West Indies Cricket Board is pleased to announce the establishment of two new and improved West Indies Twitter accounts that will serve the Caribbean social media users. This change was forced upon this morning when the West Indies Cricket Board's official Twitter account exceeded its number of tweets allowed per day (1000).

The West Indies Cricket Board apologises to all its followers on social media site, Twitter, for any inconvenience caused during the disruption and break in updates.

Because of the problem though, Twitter followers can now access two new and improved official West Indies Cricket Board Twitter accounts. Both accounts are different and serve different purposes.

There is the Twitter account that gives continuous updates on all West Indies International matches. You can follow @windiesintl for all international updates from West Indies cricket. Click here to take you straight to West Indies' International Twitter account.

For all West Indies Regional matches, @WindiesRegional will keep you in the know. Click here to take you straight to the West Indies' Regional Twitter account.
