Bridgetown, Barbados - Sagicor Life UWI beat Republic Bank St. Catherine by 28 runs in the second semi-final of the 2013 BCA Sagicor General Twenty20 championship at Kensington Oval tonight.

Chasing 134 to win, St. Catherine were bowled out for 105 in 18.4 overs.

All-rounder Joel Leacock topscored with 25 off 30 balls, while opener Ronaldo Kellman made 23 off 26 balls.

Pacer Carlos Brathwaite was the leading wicket-taker with four for 19 off 3.4 overs, which earned him the Player-of-the-Match award.

St. Catherine scored 133 for nine off 20 overs after they were sent in.

Opener Shacaya Thomas topscored with 33 off 43 balls, hitting three boundaries.

Left-arm fast bowler Michael Holder took three for 24 off four overs.

UWI will oppose record two-time champions CGI Maple in the final on Sunday at 7 p.m.
