Barbados Cricket Association article.

Bridgetown, Barbados - Play in all Barbados Cricket Association (BCA) domestic matches which were scheduled for this weekend, May 11 and 12, have been postponed due to the WICB first-class four-day final between Barbados and Trinidad & Tobago at Kensington Oval, starting on Thursday.

The 2013 BCA season opened last Saturday, May 4.

Matches in the Intermediate and Goddard’s Schools’ Divisions will now conclude on the Sunday of the following weekend, one (1) day later than originally scheduled, ie Sunday, May 19.

The dates for the matches in the first series will therefore be as follows:

•    Saturday May 4

•    Saturday May 18

•    Sunday May 19

Matches in the Second Division which were scheduled to conclude on Saturday May 11 will now conclude on Sunday May 19. The matches scheduled for the second series in this Division will be played as scheduled.

Dates for matches in the Second Division are:

•    Series 1    May 4 & 19

•    Series 2    May 18 & 25

Matches in the LIME Elite and First Division competitions require a complete weekend to conclude the fixture but this is not possible without re-arranging the fixtures in all of the other Divisions.

This series will therefore be concluded in the latter part of the season on dates to be announced later.

Barbados and Trinidad & Tobago will be battling for the Headley/Weekes Trophy.
