T&T opt to bowl against Guyana

North Sound, Antigua - Both teams would have known since the draw that this match would have been the one that decides the fate of Group A. Instead with Trinidad and Tobago's defeat to the Windward Islands in the opening match, the Trinis fine themselves in a position where they could fall short of defending their championship. The red, white and black outfit came back strongly to post a record breaking win against Leewards two days ago but they still need to overcome arch rivals Guyana to move closer to progression.

On the other hand, Guyana will be hoping to make it two wins out of two tonight after they won their opening Caribbean T20 match against the Leeward Islands on Monday. Guyana sit below Trinidad and Tobago in third position with a game in hand. The winner of tonight's match will go level with Group A leaders Windward Islands who sit at the top having won their two matches.

In tonight's all important affair, T&T won the toss and elected to bowl first at the Sir Vivian Richards Stadium. For live online text commentary throughout the night, click here. Or, you can watch Caribbean Twenty20 2012 live on ESPN or ESPN HD.
