T&T National League ruling on Monday

PORT OF SPAIN, TRINIDAD - The National League Committee (NLC) will meet on Monday to decide the outcome of the tied Premiership Division Twenty20 match between Queen’s Park and Moosai’s Sports Club which took place on Wednesday.

The Committee discussed the scenario briefly yesterday via email but there were varying views on what should be done. As a result, the Committee members will have a face-to-face meeting on Monday to come to a consensus.

The tied match occurred at the Queen’s Park Oval in a 15 overs per side rain reduced match. The visitors posted 107 for nine from their 15 overs while the Parkites closed on 107 for four in their allotment. But due to fading light, a Super Over was not possible which caused a predicament as National League regulations have no provisions for a tied game.
