Khan - Rampaul absence a ‘major blow’

PORT-OF-SPAIN, Trinidad - Trinidad and Tobago manager, Omar Khan, has conceded that the unavailability of ace strike bowler Ravi Rampaul will be a ‘major blow’ to the defending champions as they begin their campaign in the Caribbean T/20 tournament here on Sunday.

PORT-OF-SPAIN, Trinidad - A match winning performance from Barbados captain Dwayne Smith led them to a commanding 77 run win over Trinidad and Tobago’s ‘B’ team in a practice match here on Thursday.

Smith slammed an unbeaten 71 as the Bajans reached 144 for three of their 20 overs while the Trinidadians crashed to 78 all out in 19 overs.
