Vincentians bat first in final after being sent in by Trinidadians

Vincentians, Trinidadians ready for showpiece final of Women's League

Kingstown, St Vincent: The stage is all set for the final of the West Indies Cricket Board’s Women’s 50-Over League. On Wednesday defending champions Trinidad and Tobago will face host nation St Vincent and the Grenadines at Arnos Vale Playing Field 1. First ball is 10 am (9 am Jamaica Time).

Kingston, St Vincent: Jamaica are tottering on 52-6 after 25 overs trying to get a victory target of 129 in 50 overs against St Vincent and the Grenadines in their semi-final of the West Indies Cricket Board’s Women’s 50-Over League. Carrying the fight for Jamaica is left-hander Shanel Daley who is on 22 not out at Arnos Vale Playing Field 2. The Jamaicans will now need to get 77 runs in the last 25 overs, while the home side will be looking to get the last four wickets and secure a spot in Wednesday’s final.

Kingstown, St Vincent: Jamaica will require 129 off 50 overs for victory when they start batting against St Vincent and the Grenadines in their semi-final of the West Indies Cricket Board’s Women’s 50-Over League. The Jamaicans bowled out the Vincentians side for 128 on a good pitch at Arnos Vale Playing Field 2, on Monday.
