West Indies Women for tri-series

ST JOHN’S: A women’s triangular T20 series involving West Indies, England and New Zealand will be played in Barbados in October, the West Indies Cricket Board (WICB) announced yesterday.

“This Tri Series is an important component of our continued development programme for Women’s Cricket,” WICB Cricket Operations Manager Roland Holder said.

Wanderers in High Court on May 7

PORT OF SPAIN, TRINIDAD - The ongoing off the field battle between Wanderers, the Trinidad and Tobago Cricket Board and Alescon Comets is set to be heard in the T&T high court on May 7.

The battle began last year following a washed out match between Wanderers and Comets at Gilbert Park in California.

South Zone Under-15 screening today

PORT OF SPAIN, TRINIDAD - The South Zone of the Trinidad and Tobago Cricket Board will be holding an Under-15 screening session at Pluck Road Recreation Ground, San Francique at 3.30 p.m. today to shortlist players to represent the Zone in the upcoming BG T&T InterZone competition.

Cosmos, HYO clash for Lake Asphalt title

PORT OF SPAIN, TRINIDAD - Cosmos Sports and HYO Sports will contest the Lake Asphalt Trinidad Limited South Zone Twenty20 final, at Wilson Road Recreation Ground, Penal, from 7.30 this evening, with a first prize of $7,000 up for grabs.
